Ulster Bank Announces RBS Winners
Today, Ulster Bank announced the winners of the RBS Skills and Opportunities fund.
The Skills and Opportunity fund received over 110 applications in 2016 from various Irish charities, community groups and state funded schools.
The purpose of this fund is to provide assistance to organizations that help disadvantaged people in developing skills, or providing opportunities that will allow them to find work. Ulster Bank invests in this project so that the winning organizations will have the resources to help more people within their community, or meet any goals they might have for improvement.
This fund will invest €68,000 into five community projects in Ireland. The winning groups are:
- National College of Ireland, Early Learning Initiative
- North Leitrim Men’s Group, Design and Business Training Project
- Innovate Dublin, Social Innovation Training
- Daisyhouse Housing Association, Daisy House Employment Programme
- Jobcare, Digital Employability Skills Programme
These winners have demonstrated their experience and have had a visible impact through their organizations, and this award will allow them to continue to make a change in their community.
