Tiger has announced that it plans to open 12 new stores in Ireland by 2017. The Irish company that runs the chain of retail stores has also announced that it will be rebranding the group as Flying Tiger Copenhagen next month.
Gillian Maxwell, who established the Irish arm of Tiger with her husband Niall Stringer said that “We would have a goal of 32 to 36 stores in Ireland.”
“They will have to be the right size and it’s as much now about making sure the stores are performing well as opening new outlets. It will depend on the right location and the right rent deal.”
The group currently has 24 stores in Ireland.
