Aramark, the global provider of award-winning services in food, facilities management and property has announced that Irish Olympic hopeful Natalya Coyle is joining their Right Track Health and Wellness Team this year as the Education and Workplace Wellness Ambassador.

Modern pentathlete, Natalya joins Olympic Champion Katie Taylor and Munster rugby legend, Alan Quinlan for this year’s Right Track campaign which aims to improve both physical and mental health and wellbeing in workplaces across Ireland.

In her role as Education and Workplace Wellness Ambassador, Natalya will be responsible for driving awareness with the student population across campus and workplace locations where Aramark operates.

Speaking on her appointment, Natalya said: “I’m delighted to be involved with the Right Track programme and to be promoting health and wellness amongst third-level students. As a recent student myself, where I was juggling my studies with training for five events including preparing for the Rio 2016 games, I know the importance of staying fit and healthy.”

“Often, students are learning to live and study by themselves for the first time, they face a lot of change and that can be quite stressful. By supporting them on campus and helping them to improve their health and wellbeing through nutrition and exercise, we can give students the chance to make positive lifestyle changes which will have massive benefits to their studies.”

Natalya’s role will also focus on the impact of the workplace environment on people’s mental health and wellbeing, aligning with Alan Quinlan, Aramark’s current mental health ambassador.

“It’s a well-known saying that a cluttered desk is a sign of a cluttered mind and I’ve always been a true believer in that, particularly with my own studies. A workplace environment has a direct impact on a person’s wellbeing; whether it’s lighting, heat, how you’re sitting or standing, all of these factors are directly related to your performance. This is where the Right Track campaign will come in to play. We will be there to help people understand not just the impacts of their workplace environment but how they can improve it to their benefit.”

Frank Gleeson, Managing Director of Aramark’s Food Services Division said, “This is the fourth year of the Right Track campaign and we have a really stellar team on board this year in Natalya, Katie Taylor and Alan Quinlan. Health and wellness is a top priority for our business and we are committed to building on our promise to get not just workforces but also student populations, healthy.”

Aramark is once again involved in this year’s National Workplace Wellbeing Day on April 8th as hosts to the NHF Workplace Wellbeing Seminar being held in Croke Park.

Aramark is the country’s leading integrated services supplier of facilities management, food, property and energy services. Aramark is one of the country’s largest US multinational employers with over 5,000 people throughout the island of Ireland and EMEA. Aramark is headquartered in Dublin, with regional offices in Cork, Limerick and Belfast.
