Maxol Roll Out Irish Tech Solution Across 100 Stores Nationwide
The Maxol Group, the country’s leading family owned forecourt convenience retailer has announced the roll out of a new series of online business continuity services for its company owned service station network developed by Irish firm vCloud.ie. The new programme will be implemented across 100 forecourt stores nationwide and will see the retail convenience provider increase operational efficiencies in the event of any system failures.
A recent survey by the Kildare based firm revealed that 42 % of companies estimated the cost of downtime to be more than €5,000 per hour. Worryingly, 73% of the respondents also say that they do not have a Disaster Recovery Plan in place.

The announcement comes as part of an ever-increasing vigilance to prevent disruptions to online operating systems, which may occur due to hardware or software failures, human error or cyber-attacks.
The Kildare-based tech company say that it is now possible to maintain a 100% IT uptime record, even in the event of an incident. This comes with the emergence of new technologies from the business which allow immediate recovery solutions.
