Prepaid Financial Services (PFS) and its sister company eCOMM Merchant Solutions have announced that are launching a major recruitment drive to recruit for 28 jobs in Navan. HR Manager Lorna McCormack says: “We have a range of jobs to fill over the summer and autumn with positions in Software Development, Call Centre and Multilingual vacancies, Sales roles and more. We are a young and growing business so this is an exciting time to join our company.“

Founded by Noel Moran, PFS is one of the fastest growing e-money institutions in Europe. It offers a comprehensive range of e-money and banking solutions including e-wallets, physical and virtual prepaid cards and current accounts in the UK and the Eurozone.

In 2014 Navan-born Moran set up eCOMM Merchant Solutions in the town centre. eCOMM Merchant Solutions is a one-stop payment gateway and acquirer for merchants who want e-commerce, MOTO, ATM and POS processing capability and solutions for Visa & Mastercard.

eCOMM Merchant Solutions also offer Alipay payment solutions to stores in the European Economic Area. Alipay is currently the largest mobile and online payment company in the world.

The 28 jobs will be based in eCOMM Merchant Solutions offices in the IDA Park in Navan. There are positions across a range of functions including Software Development, Project Management, HR and Marketing. The company will shortly open a new Research and Innovation Centre on the site, so it is expanding its software development team.

A number of additional vacancies have also been identified following an internal review and department restructure which sees the company invest heavily in resources across almost all functions with immediate effect. There are currently more than 75 staff in the Navan office so this recruitment drive will bring the total to 100 in the coming months.

“I am hoping we can attract applicants tired of commuting to Dublin and draw people from Dublin to Navan,” McCormack says, adding, “I would also like to encourage anyone that lives locally with Payments experience to send their CV into us.“
