Bolton-based Irish Freight Solutions spreads its wings into Nottingham
Irish Freight Solutions (IFS), a well-known player in the freight brokerage world, has established itself within the Bolton business landscape and is now taking steps to expand. The company has set up an additional hub in Nottingham. IFS is all about delivering top-notch next-day groupage services to Ireland, using the East Midlands and South Yorkshire as a key hub.
Back in January 2020, James Wood a lifelong Boltonian and Wanderers fan kick-started IFS in Horwich, Bolton. From there, the company has grown into a local success story, creating jobs and making a positive mark in the community whilst simultaneously growing to a turnover of £6.9 million in 2022. With swift progress, the IFS family has now expanded to a team of 10 members.
The new Nottingham location, situated in the heart of the UK, marks a major milestone for Irish Freight Solutions. They’re all set to bring their strong “total customer-focused” approach to a wider range of services, not only across the UK but also all over mainland Europe. This expansion is a direct result of IFS’s outstanding achievements in their Irish freight operations.
