Push notification platform Hurree has raised more than £200,000 online since launching a crowdsourcing campaign on Crowdcube less than two weeks ago.

Created by Aaron Gibson, described by the Belfast Telegraph as a 23-year-old early school leaver from County Down, Hurree allows app developers to monitor and analyse user information  to optimise push notification apps on mobile phones.

Hurree launched a 30-day financing campaign on Crowcube in an aim to raise £300,000 by early December. Huree is an online platform that allows small businesses to secure funds from investors who can buy shares for amounts as small as £10. Hurree is offering 20% equity at a current company valuation of £1,200,000. Hurree has already received commitments from TechStartNI, London VC and Angel Investors.

Hurree describes itself as “a marketing automation platform for apps which helps brands to reinvent relationships with its users via mobile. With Hurree, brands are able to promote and communicate with their app users via multiple channels while monitoring the data most relevant to them. Having the ability to learn about each user, the platform helps to increase engagement by suggesting the preferred content and messaging style for each user group.”

The company says that, since launching the platform in August 2016, the number of brands trialing the system has grown from small app brands to globally recognisable names.
