Pinergy, the smart energy company which provides 100% green electricity, has formally launched an exciting new partnership with eLight, the Irish company that provides “Light as a Service” (LaaS). The partnership will support Irish based businesses looking to become more sustainable by investing in energy efficient lighting & being supplied with 100% green energy.

Pinergy is launching and delivering this initiative in partnership with eLight, Ireland’s leading Light as a Service provider, who will bring their specialist expertise to support Pinergy in the design, supply, installation, and maintenance of energy efficient lighting projects. Based in Dublin, eLight has already completed over 900 lighting upgrades in the commercial business sector. eLight helps businesses and schools switch to LED lighting for a fixed monthly service fee, avoiding any upfront payments. For customers, the energy savings are greater than the monthly service fee, allowing them to unlock free cash-flow from day one as well as to improve the quality of their lighting and reduce carbon emissions.

Commenting on this latest initiative, Enda Gunnell (pictured right), CEO at Pinergy said: “Lighting is a significant cost for many businesses. We can now provide an attractive Light as a Service (LAAS) option for any capital lighting projects being undertaken. This simply means that customers pay for the lighting upgrade over a fixed period of time, resulting in no upfront costs and with the energy savings achieved completely funding the project.”

Commenting on this latest partnership with Pinergy, Ian McKenna (pictured left), Managing Director at eLight said: “We are delighted to be forging this partnership with energy specialist Pinergy, a company that like ourselves is fully committed to delivering innovative solutions to support customers in reducing energy consumption, carbon emissions and cost. Our partnership with Pinergy provides a very compelling proposition for businesses, and schools and enterprises that want to get smarter in their use of energy.”

Pinergy and eLight will also be offering free audits for customers to assess their energy needs.  This advisory led service ensures that commercial customers get professional advice in relation to the best way to reduce their consumption and carbon footprint while becoming more sustainable.  Pinergy’s energy advisors are also on hand to advise on the full range of grant funding that is available and for which they may qualify for, including current energy support schemes promoted by Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland. The new partnership with eLight, which was initially piloted last year, has already seen successes in multiple industry sectors including Education, Hospitality, Manufacturing, Retail and Property management sectors.

Pinergy is also working closely with some of Ireland’s most innovative technology providers supporting solar energy, wind energy, heat pumps and refrigeration energy systems.  Pinergy underpins each of its partner technologies with smart energy management software that provides customers with data to more easily monitor and track their energy usage, getting instant real-time visibility on energy costs.  Business customers who change to Pinergy and engage in an energy management relationship can see meaningful reductions of between 20% and 50% in electricity consumption in their first year.
