AnaBio Appoints Dan MacSweeney as Chairman
Dan MacSweeney has been appointed as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Irish biotechnology company AnaBio Technologies. Dan MacSweeney has served for 25 years as CEO of Carbery Group, an Irish based cheese and food ingredients business. He led the company to become a global player in dairy ingredients, flavours and natural extracts. He retired from his position in December 2017.
AnaBio is an Irish biotechnology company that was founded in 2011. The core business of the company is natural micro-encapsulation systems which can be applied to food, pharma and feed applications. The company’s technology is based on a portfolio of 12 patents which gives it unique protection and opportunities to explore the technology worldwide. The company commercialises amongst others encapsulated creatine, leucine, vitamins, oils and probiotics.
