Springboard’s Susie Horgan wins Cork Businesswoman of the Year
Susie Horgan, Managing Director of leading communications agency, Springboard PR & Marketing, has been named Network Cork Businesswoman of the Year 2017. The news follows recent growth at the agency, which is marking five years in business.
The Network Cork Businesswomen of the Year awards honour women in Cork who have demonstrated exceptional achievements in business. Susie Horgan was named overall winner at the black tie event in the Rochestown Park Hotel on Friday night (May 19), after winning the ‘SME less than 10 Employees’ category. It was one of six award categories on the night.
The judges outlined that Susie demonstrated strong leadership qualities, as well as business and strategic planning capabilities, matched with a huge determination to perform competitively. She was unanimously chosen as the overall winner. Susie will now go forward for consideration at the Network Ireland National Business Awards, which will take place at a gala ceremony on Friday, October 6 in Druids Glen Hotel & Golf Resort in Wicklow.
Speaking about the award, Susie said: “I am delighted to have won this award and would like to thank Network Cork for the honour. I’m privileged to be part of such a strong and supportive community of businesswomen in Cork. All the winners on the night have shown such vision and leadership.
“Springboard has gone from strength to strength, celebrating its fifth anniversary this year. We have also relocated to new premises on South Terrace in Cork city and have opened a Dublin office.
