Join ProStrategy & IBM  at a ‘Best Practices in Financial Performance Management’ Executive Briefing.  Find out how IBM performance management solutions help companies of all sizes – from large-scale enterprises to small and mid-size business – transform slow, expensive, disconnected processes into more dynamic, efficient and connected experiences.

‘The FPM market is growing because more finance professionals see these solutions as a way  to address their top challenges in planning, compliance and management reporting.  This growth is largely due to the fact that finance pros can no longer rely solely on Excel for planning, reporting, or more sophisticated forecasting and analysis. The Forrester Wave : Financial Performance Management, Q2, 2013.

Many Finance departments short-change their enterprise performance management activities because they’re wasting time on manual tasks, such as collecting, validating and correcting data, to spend adequate time on the more important task of analysis.  They rely on systems – ranging from spreadsheets to ERP solutions – that are disconnected, outdated, static, insecure, completely dependent upon IT, and lacking the performance and data reliability for today’s analytics.

IBM Cognos Performance Management provides a dynamic, collaborative solution to meet all of your enterprise planning and analytics needs.  It offers visibility to plans and forecasts, rapid what-if scenario modelling, and profitability analysis.  And, when paired with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence, it addresses a breadth of reporting and score carding needs.

Join us at our half day Executive Briefing, where we will share key insights in financial performance management including best practices in business intelligence & visualisation, budgeting & forecasting and disclosure management.  You will also hear how Largo Foods used Cognos to provide their sales team with self-serve sales analysis; and there will be a session on building the business case and mobilising a project.  In addition, you will have the opportunity to network and share ideas with the Guest Speakers and the other Delegates and with ProStrategy and IBM personnel.

Guest Speakers include: Mark Rolfe and Colm Kenneally from IBM and Michael McGinn from Largo Foods.

Mark Rolfe, FCCA, Leader – European Performance Management at IBM, has 25 years’ experience in Finance.  Most recently he was VP Finance and Operations for Ingres Europe and FrontRange Solutions Europe.  Previously, he was Director of Finance, EMEA at Macromedia for 8 years and Chief Accountant / Controller of Financial Planning at Nintendo for 5 years.  Both of these companies grew dramatically during his tenure, giving him exceptional experience of Performance Management in constantly evolving environments.  IBM recruited him in 2008 to drive the Financial Performance Management (FPM) agenda in EMEA.
Colm Kenneally, a Solution Specialist at IBM, has worked in the IT industry for 20 years, and has focused on selling and implementing planning, reporting and performance management solutions for a range of companies in the UK and Ireland.
