3d4medical_app-iphoneIrish medical technology company, 3D4Medical is to create 70 new jobs over the next 18 months in its Dublin headquarters. The technology firm makes medical and health apps to help support and educate professionals, students and patients.

The company is seeking software developers, 3D graphic artists and medical writers and experts.  The expansion will see the company treble its current workforce.

Founder and chief executive John Moore said the company is delighted to be able to expand its R&D and technical teams in Dublin.

The expansion has been supported by the Department of Jobs through Enterprise Ireland.
It has been welcomed by the Minister for Jobs who will open the company’s new global headquarters in Blackrock, Co Dublin later today.

Founded in 2004, the company has offices in Poland, Russia and San Diego, as well as Dublin. The company’s apps for iPhone, iPad and desktop have been downloaded 12 million times around the world. Its “Complete Anatomy” platform was recently featured on stage during the launch of the Apple iPad Pro in San Francisco, which was watched by 40 million people around the world.
